So after an interesting but rather noisy hour in the caves we began the descent back to the motor launch and the return journey to the India Gateway and the photo that I had wanted of this monument from the seaward side.
Back on board we were treated in the evening to a local show ‘Bollywood Buzz’ that narrated the story of how a Bollywood film/drama is put together. In essence it is not unlike a traditional pantomime with a handsome hero, pretty (Very pretty this evening!) heroin, villainous Father and a character called an ‘Item’ basically a filler for when the producer or author ran out of roles but needs to include a song and dance to make the story hang together. The real charm was the colourful costumes and the vibrant dancing, a thoroughly absorbing and enjoyable performance.
