The Singapore F1 street circuit is now a regular fixture in the Grand Prix calendar, held at night to avoid the high temperatures of the day – Singapore after all is only 80 miles north of the Equator – this race is held in September. The Ferris Wheel proved to be an almost perfect vantage point from which to view much of the circuit. I don’t suppose viewing of the race proper is allowed from the wheel but it might be cheaper than renting a hotel room overlooking the circuit which retail for 13,000 SGD (£6,500) per night!
The photos show the pit lane, the start/finish straight, the last bend into the grid and pit lane entry and the small section by the Marina Bay.
