I’m about to begin drafting postings on three delightful days in the Hawaiian Islands. As I write it is 0930 hrs. (18.30 UK time) and we are heading Northeast for our final destination on this leg of the cruise and of course my point of disembarkation. This time next week I will be half way across the Atlantic on a flight due to touchdown at London Heathrow at 14.55hrs.
Talking of flights meet ‘Aviator Bear’. I just could not resist this little chap after a wonderful helicopter flight over the lava tubes in Hilo yesterday! I was allocated ‘Seat 2’ next to the pilot and so had the best view of all as we flew over the molten lave flows but more about that in a later Blog.
Sadly Aviator Bear will not have many adventures before we have to disembark but I hope there will be more to come on future voyages.
For now ‘Have a nice day!!!’ and I will be back later with more postings on Hawaii.
