Subject: Sunday 16th March 2014 -8 Hours GMT – En Route to San Diego, California, USA: Its Adieu From Me and Adieu From Him – Well Them Actually!!

They say that all good things come to an end and this particular voyage for me ends in San Diego where we are scheduled to be alongside at 12.30pm, and by then since we lose another hour tonight I will be -7hrs GMT, so it will be 7.30pm in the evening on Tuesday 18^th March 2014 UK time.

I had hoped to get to the famous San Diego Zoo for a final treat but I think that by the time I can exit the ship it will be too late to really enjoy a leisurely visit.

I disembark at 09.30am on Wednesday 19^th March and will be taking an 8-hour tour including the main sites in San Diego before making the 2 hour drive to Los Angeles, visiting Beverley Hills and Hollywood and the Farmers Market for lunch before arriving at the airport for flight BA 0268 departing at 21.45 LA time and arriving at 14.55 UK time, Terminal 5 LHR.

By the time I get home I anticipate I will have been awake for over 42 hours but it has all been very worthwhile.

So for the present I will conclude this blog and take up the final day-or-so in San Diego and LA when I get home.
